Turning our Passion into a Creation
Boss Cow started with two personal health journeys. For years, Sam could not tolerate dairy. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, she understood the importance of high-quality food, but personally, dairy always felt off-limits. After years of avoiding it, she discovered A2/A2 dairy — dairy made with the natural A2 beta-casein protein. That changed everything.
For the first time in years, Sam could enjoy real dairy again in a way that felt different than the conventional dairy she had avoided for so long.
Kevin’s connection to clean food came through his own health journey with Crohn’s disease. After learning how much food quality, ingredients, and lifestyle mattered, clean eating became deeply personal for him too. He became passionate about simple, real food made without seed oils, dyes, preservatives, or unnecessary additives.
Together, we realized we didn’t want to create another “better-for-you” brand with a long ingredient list and a pretty label. We wanted to make the foods families already love — just with better ingredients, better sourcing, and a whole lot more integrity.
That became Boss Cow.

We believe dairy should come from real farms, cows raised with care, and farmers we know by name. That’s why we use A2/A2 dairy made with the natural A2 beta-casein protein — a gentler kind of dairy that many people find easier to digest and enjoy.
